Dovo Pure Badger Shaving Brush Olive Wood is made with 100% pure badger hair. Coupled with the uniquely grained olive wood handle, this creates a real eye-catcher for your bathroom. Thanks to its light weight of only 48 grams, shaving lather is particularly easy to apply. The elegantly rounded handle is ergonomically shaped and can be easily held firmly even with wet hands.

Material: Pure badger hair
Pure badger hair is firmer than either fine badger hair or the silvertip. The brown-beige hairs take on a slighter darker shade towards the tip. This sturdy type of hair ensures the greatest massaging effect and relaxes the skin when applying the shaving soap. The pure badger hair also produces a creamy lather and prepares you perfectly for a wet shave.

Handle Material: Olive wood
Olive wood is a unique, natural material. It is harder than domestic oak or beech wood and shows a high resistance against mould infestation. Even untreated olive wood has an above-average resistance to water making it the perfect material for straight razors, shaving brushes, and shavettes.

How to use:
To lather your shaving soap or cream properly, hold your shaving brush briefly under warm water. Under light pressure, whip the soap to a luxurious lather. Massage this gently onto your moistened skin without bending the bristles. Then let it work for a short time, and you’re ready for a smooth and thorough shave.

Maintenance:
For a long service life, rinse your brush with warm water after each use. Then it is best to hang it up to dry in a well-ventilated place, so that the hair fibres recover and stay supple. To avoid hair breakage, you should wash your shaving brush with hair shampoo after a few shaves to remove lather residue. You can find more information here.
